Engaging Schools Senior Consultant Carol Miller Lieber

Engaged Classrooms, one of our core professional services, offers an approach to instruction, classroom management, and discipline that fosters academic, social, and emotional learning and development in each and every student. In order to expand access to our work, we’re pleased to offer the Engaged Classrooms: Learning and Teaching for Rigor, Creativity, and Ownership workshop. This workshop has drawn standing room-only audiences at national conferences across the country. In response to demand, we’re offering it as an open enrollment one-day experience, which will be held in Massachusetts and Colorado in March and April 2015.

In this workshop, participants explore practices and strategies to develop positive and supportive relationships with students by building high-functioning, high-performing groups of learners. This workshop provides “learn-it-today, use-it-tomorrow” tools and strategies that you can apply immediately in your classroom. Engaged Classrooms: Learning and Teaching for Rigor, Creativity, and Ownership is $200.00 per person; this includes breakfast, lunch, and a copy of Activators: Classroom Strategies for Engaging Middle and High School Students.
