Full conference program and schedule

In 2013, the Syracuse City School District (SCSD) faced high rates of exclusionary and disproportional discipline and was being investigated by the New York State Attorney General’s Office. The District collaborated with Engaging Schools to create a new Code of Conduct, Character, and Support that the school board unanimously approved in September of 2014. SCSD’s efforts have been cited as exemplary at a Congressional briefing and the White House Summit on school discipline held in July 2015.

Engaging Schools will have a booth in the exhibit hall.
