• Embedding Social and Emotional Learning in High School Classrooms

Larry Dieringer and Denise Wolk will present a pre-conference workshop, Embedding Social and Emotional Learning in High School Classrooms, at the New England Secondary School Consortium’s School Redesign in Action Conference. Participants will explore how teachers can intentionally create content that is simultaneously challenging and seamlessly integrates SEL with academic learning, and what it takes to design classroom experiences where teachers actively partner with students to engage in respectful interactions, while teaching rigorous content with high standards and expectations.
